Overview: Skomina was refereeing the biggest match of his career so far in Italy, but a solid performance proved that he was certainly up to the challenge. There weren't many situations for him to deal with, although there was one close no penalty call that he made that I just don't have a good enough angle to make a verdict on. Overall, a good match for Skomina, who at 39 has many years to continue to work towards a Final.
Dnipro 1-0 Napoli (2-1 aggregate) Referee: Milorad Mazic (Serbia)

Overview: Mazic was nearly flawless in this match, a good end to a season which had a rough beginning in the World Cup with two controversial matches. Mazic seemed to be a good CL Quarterfinal performance away from getting the EL Final, and probably will be a top candidate again next year. Nice work by the Serbian referee and his crew.
